Two Belarusian tennis players have been successfully battling through the Australian Open in Melbourne to reach the third round. Sasnovich knocked out world's number 20 Estonia's Anett Kontaveit 6:3, 6:3. In the third round, our athlete will play Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from Russia. The leader of the national team of Belarus and WTA's number 11 Aryna Sabalenka held a confident victory over UK's Katie Boulter: 6:3, 6:4. She will challenge Amanda Anisimova from the US for a berth in the round of 16. The Belarusian-Japanese tandem Lidziya Marozava / Shuko Aoyama defeated German-American duet Groenefeld / King in the doubles first round.
