The Slavic Ball was held in Gomel for the first time

A five-hour marathon, six groups from Belarus and Russia. The Slavic Ball was held in Gomel for the first time. The event is dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the friendship of the peoples of the Union State. Waltz, foxtrot, tango, polonaise, quadrille, polka, ragtime — in these once popular pair dances, the participants showed their skills, also the audience was shown and rather rare types of classical dance. As a result of the competition program, the winners of the "Miss and Mr. Waltz" and "Miss and Mr. Quadrille" categories were determined, and the winners of the special category established for the Year of the Belarusian Woman were announced.
