The Republican Olympiad in Information Technology has started in Gomel

III Republican IT Olympiad for students of higher education institutions IT-Challenge has kicked off in Gomel as part of Digital Week Gomel. Fourteen teams from 13 leading universities across the country will participate. The organisers have prepared four tasks related to current market trends and IT development in Belarus and globally, including artificial intelligence and information security. The tasks include several challenges. One involves controlling a driverless vehicle. Participants will have to train the model to navigate a course without hitting obstacles. The Olympiad is part of a large-scale Gomel IT forum, which began on 13 April.
