The Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus gathered journalists from all over the country. The reason was to sum up the results of the XVIII creative competition for media coverage of the activities of the prosecutor's office. These are topics that concern people — from issues of salaries, support for motherhood and childhood to corruption crimes. One of the most important topics, the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, was not overlooked. The scale of the tragedy is still unknown. In the last four months alone, about 500 previously unknown villages and hamlets destroyed by the Nazis during the occupation have been identified.
