The third stop on the "Train of Memory" youth project map was Mogilev. They were greeted by the children from military-patriotic clubs and classes as well as local government officials. One of the most important points on the Mogilev route for the participants was Buinichi Field Memorial Complex. It was here, in the summer of 1941, that the defenders of Mogilev held back the Nazi invaders for 23 days. For the children the theme of the Great Patriotic War is not only found in history textbooks but also in the lives of their relatives. A key event was a visit to the Museum of Glory of Mogilev Region. The participants learned more about the heroic defense of Mogilev, the lives of the city's defenders, the partisan movement, and the contribution of the region's residents to the Great Victory.
