The President of Belarus awarded Nikolai Burlyaev the Medal of Francysk Skaryna

N. Burlyaev, Chairman of the Commission on Culture of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, has been awarded the Medal of Francysk Skaryna. The President of Belarus signed the decree conferring the award just recently. The artist's portfolio includes over fifty roles. In addition to his acting career he is active in directing and literature. As People's Artist of Russia, he participates in cultural projects in Belarus, including events at "Listapad" Film Festival and in International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". The presentation of this prestigious award recognizes his long-standing efforts to foster interstate dialogue and preserve the cultural ties of the Union State.
