The national holiday "Grape Day" was held in Samokhvalovichi

According to the established tradition, amateur winegrowers come to Samokhvalovichi every September to take part in a workshop at the Institute of Fruit Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as well as to visit an exhibition and tasting. Today, scientists offer both technical and dessert varieties of sweet berries to the agro-industrial sector of the country. The demand for it is growing every year. There are already 17 grape varieties in the state register. And the Institute of Fruit Growing of the National Academy of Sciences grows more than 500 of its species.
