The exhibition is part of the large-scale project "Batskaushchyna". For two decades it has been implemented by historian Vladimir Likhodedov. He researches the regions of Belarus and opens the pages of our history through photographs. The exposition presents unique photo facts about the terrible events that took place on the territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition consists of two parts. One of the expositions tells about the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. Many pictures are presented to the public for the first time. The collages show images of our cities before the Great Patriotic War and after the German bombing. It also shows what modern settlements look like. The second part of the exposition takes back to 1939. For its creation it was necessary to study all periodicals of Western Belarus. The archival materials formed the basis of the book "Belarus United", its presentation has already taken place in the House of Representatives. The exhibition is travelling, and soon it will be seen in many cities of Belarus.
