The Ministry of Information has responded to the blocking of Belarusian media

Another instance of digital censorship online: YouTube has blocked the channels of three Belarusian radio stations. Access to the YouTube account of the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio has been terminated; the video hosting service has also blocked the accounts of the Radio Kultura BY channel and Radio Stalitsa. These resources primarily featured content in the Belarusian language, dedicated to preserving historical memory and national traditions. The Ministry of Information of Belarus views the blocking as a gross manifestation of censorship based on national characteristics and information segregation.
