At the end of April in the town of Mosty, Grodno region, after reconstruction it is planned to open a unique for Belarus construction — the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the country. Its length is 193 meters. This crossing was built in 1972, but in the early 90's was subjected to large-scale reconstruction. Now the bridge will be renewed by 95% and will become modern and safe. The diameter of the steel cable was increased to 52 mm, which doubled the load per square meter of the bridge. After the reconstruction, the suspension crossing will have lighting and a glass deck in the center.
