The issues of pricing policy and assortment of school uniforms are under control of the Council of the Republic

About 350 school fairs have been organized in Belarus. The average cost of a set of school clothes varies from Br120 to Br620, including shoes. A set of writing and stationery supplies costs up to Br270. On the instructions of the President, members of the Council of the Republic have monitored retail outlets with regard to pricing policy and the assortment of clothes for schoolchildren. One of the main differences of the new school year is the experiment to introduce a uniform school uniform. So far it will affect 20 schools and gymnasiums in the capital. "Bellegprom" has developed a capsule collection in one color and style specifically for the pilot project. It has already been on sale in large retail outlets since August 1st. As for the financial aid from the state, large families will traditionally receive it as a lump sum by the beginning of the school year.
