The International Biblical Colloquium is taking place in Minsk

The spiritual project brought together 60 participants from Belarus, Russia, Italy and Germany. The focus is on the Bible, its interpretations and new readings, which have always interested theologians, scholars and representatives of the church. Representatives of various faiths gathered at the colloquium: Orthodox clergy; the Catholic Church was represented by the Apostolic Nuncio to Belarus, Ignazio Cefalìa; Jews and Muslims also sent their delegates to the forum. The international colloquium in 2026 was dedicated to the memory of Metropolitan Filaret, who taught biblical truths at the Minsk Theological Seminary and the Institute of Theology.
