The governor of Minsk region met with soldiers-internationalists in Khatyn

In Khatyn they talked about new approaches to patriotic education. The chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee met with combatants and representatives of veteran organisations at the museum. They also discussed the region's successes in social and economic development. The idea of holding a cadet ball in the Nesvizh palace and park ensemble and a contest for the best landscaping of territories adjacent to veterans' houses were supported.

Minsk region is preparing to celebrate Victory Day on a large scale. The programme also includes actions of remembrance, car rallies, and lessons of courage. The culmination will be the celebration on the Mound of Glory.
