Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko has today held a meeting of the national organising committee for the preparation and holding of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The meetings are held on a monthly basis. The organisers are planning a number of activities — from the decoration of cities to the logo of the holiday. As a representative of the Ministry of Defence noted, this year's parade will consist of two equal parts — historical and modern. It will be possible to see the legendary T-34 tanks, the famous machine gun carts. And the modern part will feature equipment and armament of the Armed Forces of Belarus — from armoured vehicles to various samples of communication equipment and electronic warfare. It is planned to involve more than 20 parade units.
