The government discussed preparations for the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko has today held a meeting of the national organising committee for the preparation and holding of the 80^th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The meetings are held on a monthly basis. The organisers are planning a number of activities — from the decoration of cities to the logo of the holiday. As a representative of the Ministry of Defence noted, this year's parade will consist of two equal parts — historical and modern. It will be possible to see the legendary T-34 tanks, the famous machine gun carts. And the modern part will feature equipment and armament of the Armed Forces of Belarus — from armoured vehicles to various samples of communication equipment and electronic warfare. It is planned to involve more than 20 parade units.
