The festival "Call of Polesye" will be held in Gomel region

The international festival of ethno-cultural traditions "Call of Polesye" will be held for the 8th time his year. Each year the festival is given a new director's concept. Now it is based on the traditions of the Poleshuk people: ancient holidays and rituals, songs, dances and legends. 8 districts of Gomel region and 5 districts of Brest region will be represented at the festival. The territory, where the events will be held, is fully prepared. In particular, there are locations for fishing competitions, the program has been developed, the prize fund has been approved, awards have been prepared. In the park "Pripyatsky" will be organized water excursions, boat trips. A safari park and a mini contact zoo are waiting for their visitors. It is planned that about 500 artists will take part in the final concert program.
