This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister N. Snopkov, introducing the new head of the National Tourism Agency to the staff. Last week, K. Masharsky received this position. The industry should become a self-sufficient sector of the economy. Tourism's contribution to the country's GDP is expected to double to 4.5% by 2030. Special emphasis will be placed on the development of tourism infrastructure. The bet is also on the digital development of the industry. A state information system for tourists will be launched in Belarus. It will combine all online services and sightseeing routes. This will make receiving travel services more convenient and affordable.
