The Belarusian delegation took part in the meeting of the SCO Youth Council

The event was held in Beijing. Its main theme was the participation of youth in global governance. A joint statement was adopted on the occasion of the 80^th anniversary of the end of World War II and the formation of the United Nations. The Belarusian delegation pointed out the importance of the contribution of every nation of the former USSR to the defeat of Nazism. The BRSM Youth Union joined the SCO Youth Council in June 2024. The Council focuses on the protection of history, the exchange of experience and practices, including in the development of youth entrepreneurship. Belarus' full-fledged participation in the prestigious forum underlines the country's authority in the international arena.
