Talks between the heads of the military departments of Belarus and Iran took place in Minsk

The parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation and possible ways of its active development in the areas of mutual interest. After signing important documents, the heads of the Defence Ministries of Belarus and Iran paid tribute to the victims of the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers at the Victory Monument. The visit of the Iranian delegation was consolidated by a meeting between State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich and Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh. The parties also exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda and discussed prospects for cooperation.
