"Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk"

"Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" is getting ready to welcome guests. This year's festival will feature more than 5 thousand artists from nearly three dozen countries. Tickets for the opening and closing concerts are already sold out. It is planned that such stars as Lev Leshchenko, Elena Vaenga, Dmitry Kharatyan, Sergey Lazarev, Vladimir Presnyakov and others will perform. Also popular are the projects of the Union State. This year, they will be held in an extended format to include a meeting of dance companies from Belarus and Russia, as well as theatrical meetings and performances of the Murmansk, Perm, Novosibirsk puppet theaters, theater companies from Moscow and St. Petersburg, and, of course, a joint concert. It will be dedicated to the 85^th anniversary of the People's Artist of Belarus and the USSR Igor Luchenok. The main venues of the festival will be presented in a new way. For example, the arch of the Summer Amphitheater will become part of the stage set, and visual effects will get a boost. The Vitebsk Concert Hall, the central stage of the children's contest, will welcome guests with renewed facades and beautified surrounding grounds. The open-air venues will also offer some surprises. Over the years, representatives of more than 80 countries have performed on the legendary stage of the Summer Amphitheater. Same stage sets have never been used twice in the entire history of the festival.
