Senators continue to work on supporting large families

Caring for large families is one of Belarus's national priorities. Assistance and support are actively provided not only by the state but also by public initiatives. At the start of the school year, the "Belarus Is a Large‑Family Country" project was supported by senators. Backpacks, stationery, clothing, and other necessary items have been purchased for children. The "Belarus Is a Large‑Family Country" social initiative helps strengthen traditional family values. It should be recalled that, according to the results of a republic‑wide sociological survey, more than 44 % of Belarusians plan to have two children, taking into account real-life circumstances; slightly more than 12 % of those surveyed expect to have three children.
