Issues of migration policy and counteraction to transnational crime were discussed in Belarus regional center Gomel at a sitting of the Joint College of the ministries of foreign affairs of the Union state. It was attended by heads of the profile departments of Belarus and Russia. Due to tight cooperation, 206 citizens of Belarus wanted by the law enforcement bodies were detained in Russia, 170 cars with fake documents found. The ministries plan to deepen cooperation. The meeting resulted in signing of several documents and the next year plan of action.
