Red chestnuts have blossomed in Grodno

This rare plant in Belarus is a hybrid of the traditional white and American red chestnuts. It differs from the chestnuts common in our latitudes in its bright pink flowers and smaller leaves. Experts note that the tree is frost- and disease-resistant, and boasts a long flowering period. Ornamental plants adapt well to urban conditions and are increasingly used in urban landscaping.
