Students from Vitebsk and the Moscow Oblast met at the Pushkin Ball. Educational institutions bear the name of the great classic, so his work is given special importance. To feel the breath of the era, we recreated the atmosphere of a social event of the 19th century. There were 40 couples on the parquet floor. The guys prepared thoroughly: they learned two dozen dances — waltz, polonaise, polka, mazurka, pas de grace and carousel. The event has become a part of the Pushkin Days and a good tradition of educational institutions. Belarusian and Russian schoolchildren study Pushkin's work, recite poetry and prose, make literary and theatrical productions. Contests, quizzes and literary discussions are also held as part of the Pushkin Ball, as well as a poetry lounge.
