Police officers joined the "Give the Forest a New Life!" campaign

The "Give the Forest a New Life!" green initiative continues to gain momentum, bringing more and more people together. A large contingent from the police force has joined the effort to restore the nation’s forests. Led by the Minister, active-duty law enforcement officers along with cadets, students from specialized lyceums and members of military-patriotic clubs planted 23.000 pine and spruce saplings. Police officers and personnel from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ internal troops will carry out similar forest restoration and site-cleanup activities in every region of the country.
