Plenary Assembly of Council of European Bishop’s Conferences (CCEE) opens in Minsk

For the first time, Belarus is hosting the Plenary Assembly of the Council of European Bishop’s Conferences (CCEE). The huge religious forum is running in Minsk. Representatives of 45 countries are participating. The Plenary Assembly will be dedicated to young people and the future of the continent as a common home. The program will also include a solemn opening in the Minsk Town Hall, visiting some of Minsk churches, meetings with church goers, and holding services in Sts Simeon and Helena Church. The plenary assembly will result in the final document that will be announced on Saturday.
