Belarus prepares students for the finals of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Belarusian future lawyers will compete with students from Harvard and Oxford. According to the conditions of the contest, they will defend Belarus’ interests in the UN International Court of Justice. Students will raise the issue of environmental refugees and the exploitation of natural resources. The whole process will be held in English. This is a prerequisite of the United Nations. The winners of the national selection will be known by the end of the week. The final round will be held in Washington in Spring.
