The first part of the second ring road around Minsk was officially put into operation today. The opening of the new route was attended by President Alexander Lukashenko. The total length of the second ring road will be almost 160 km. On January, 1, 2016 the first phase of the highway will be ready. The second phase of construction will be completed in 2017. The head of state personally inspected the new road, spoke to residents of Minsk region and representatives of labor collectives.
