Over the past five years, 2.8 mln people have visited the Brest Fortress

The complex's staff has conducted over 55.000 tours for representatives from 56 countries. Interest in the Great Patriotic War grows every year. Residents of Western Europe, Canada, and the United States continue to visit the Brest Fortress, despite sanctions and attempts to deny historical memory. 2026 marks an anniversary for the memorial complex. In November, the Brest Fortress Defense Museum will celebrate its 70^th anniversary, and in September, the 55^th anniversary of the opening of the citadel. Over this time, the Brest Fortress has been visited by over 28 mln people.
