Novopolotsk turns 65!

Novopolotsk is 65 years old. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the residents of the city on the anniversary of its formation. Today Novopolotsk is one of the largest centers of the petrochemical industry in Belarus and the CIS countries. The city makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the country, is a leader in many areas in industry and the socio-cultural sphere. Novopolotsk has already begun to celebrate the anniversary. The program includes a youth forum of sister cities, demonstrations, sports competitions, and concerts. Major events are planned for the weekend.
