New road rules are coming into force in Belarus on 1 September

Personal mobility devices must now be registered. Owners will be required to submit them to a testing laboratory. If the vehicle meets the technical regulations, it will be issued an electronic passport. With this passport, simplified registration can be carried out at the Driver Licensing Office. For vehicles that are considered mechanical, the appropriate category of rights will be required. A new category will not be introduced for electric mopeds and electric motorcycles.
