The program includes creative meetings, contests, and presentations of author's projects. The problems of popularization and development of the Belarusian language will be discussed at seminars and round tables. The results of the competition of scientific research papers among schoolchildren "Vasilkoy shapatlivayu movayu" (In a whisper of cornflowers) will also be summed up. "Ode to a Belarusian Woman" will be performed at the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre. By tradition, the young readers will present their favorite literary works to the audience. On 20 February everyone will be able to write a Republican dictation in the Belarusian language. The action is timed to coincide with the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated on 21 February.
