More than a million Belarusian schoolchildren will return to school on 1 September

With the start of the school year, over 1 mln Belarusian schoolchildren will sit at their desks. Around 87.000 first-graders will be attending school for the first time. The unified lesson will be held under the motto: "Knowledge today is the strength and prosperity of Belarus tomorrow". The first school meeting will focus on respect for the achievements of our people, preserving historical memory, and each person's responsibility for the future of their country. In total, around 2.500 schools will open their doors to children this autumn.
