In the rating of the best cities in the world for walking according to the research of Nature and The Economist magazines, the capital of Belarus ranks 16th. The main criterion for evaluation was the average time for citizens to walk to the main infrastructure facilities: schools, hospitals, shops and restaurants. In Minsk, such a time was 8 minutes and 36 seconds. The leaders of the rating are Milan and Copenhagen. In these cities, on average, residents spend a little more than 6 minutes to get to basic amenities.
