Minsk is hosting the Regional Forum of National Coordinators for the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. Representatives of more than 40 countries will exchange experience in achieving the Goals, discuss problematic issues in the implementation of the Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period until 2030. It includes a list of 17 goals. Among them, eradication of poverty, combating inequality, climate change. Belarus has already taken a number of important steps. Our country is on the list of countries with a high level of human development and takes 52nd place out of 188. At the forum Belarus intends to voice the proposal to create a global best practices database on achieving SDGs.
