Minsk and Kazan became sister cities

A solemn ceremony of signing a twinning agreement between Minsk and Kazan was held in the city hall of the Belarusian capital. The document was signed by Mayors Vladimir Kukharev and Ilsur Metshin. The head of Minsk City Executive Committee noted that there is already a good base for cooperation and it is expanding. The new level of cooperation will allow to develop projects not only in the economic sphere, but also in sports, tourism, culture and education. The capital of Tatarstan became Minsk's 37^th sister city.
