Military staff from the CSTO countries have begun exercises at a Russian training ground

Military contingents from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan are involved. As part of the special exercise “Poisk‑2026,” reconnaissance groups have begun carrying out tasks in designated areas. The theme of the manoeuvres is the organization and conduct of reconnaissance during the localization of a cross‑border armed conflict. The groups are engaged in detecting the targets of a hypothetical enemy. Reconnaissance and strike drones are used to engage targets and adjust artillery and aviation fire. When planning and carrying out tasks, reconnaissance personnel take into account the experience of modern armed conflicts.
