The third session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus was held in Minsk under the chairmanship of Igor Sergeyenko. Deputies reviewed and adopted five bills: amendments to the laws on activities of the Council of Ministers and State Control Committee bodies; railway transport; legal protection of intellectual property; and offense prevention. Deputies voted for amendments to the relevant bill that will reduce the number of domestic conflicts. Regarding intellectual property, a proposal is being made to establish a clear term for exclusive rights to works of science, literature, and art. This term includes the period of author's life plus 70 years after their death.
