Latvia opens border with Belarus

Latvia, after almost four days, opened the border. The State Border Committee of Belarus reported that since the evening of 4 August, registration of all types of transport has been fully resumed at the Paternieki checkpoint. Before, the only working checkpoint on the Latvian-Belarusian section was idle under the pretext of a "technical malfunction"
