Large-scale training exercises for the Ministry of Internal Affairs units took place in Gomel Oblast

Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov assessed the mobility and operational readiness of forces to carry out missions in unfamiliar terrain while facing active opposition. The command-staff exercises involved practicing responses to the most complex scenarios of escalating tension in urban environment such as neutralizing saboteurs near Mozyr Oil Refinery. Following the inspection of the 7^th Internal Troops Brigade conducted alongside the Security Council Secretariat the Minister of Internal Affairs issued a directive to upgrade and thoroughly drill tactics for detecting and eliminating the enemy, including sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
