Employees of the Ministry for Emergency Situations are helping to eliminate the consequences of a thunderstorm front in Grodno Oblast. In some areas, wind gusts reached up to 18 m/s. In eight districts of Oblast and Grodno, trees were downed: over the course of a day, rescuers went to the rescue more than 10 times, and there were no injuries. On 9 July, thunderstorms were also reported in some areas of Grodno Oblast. According to the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the hazards include communication and power lines breaking, power outages, and fires.
