Maneuvers with the troops of the Western Operational Command are one of the main events within the framework of the ongoing combat readiness check. The exercise is purely defensive in nature. Its implementation will make it possible to work out the full management cycle in the troops of the operational association, as well as to assess in practice the readiness to perform tasks for the purpose of the inspected military units. Polygons and terrain areas at a considerable distance from the state border are involved. The concept of the exercise is based on the current military-political situation and the trends of warfare in the context of modern military conflicts. The results will form the basis for further development of combat training of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
