Fire hazard in forests persists in Belarus

According to the Ministry of Forestry, bans on visiting forests have been introduced in 48 regions of the country. In the rest, with the exception of the Braslav district, restrictions were introduced. As Minister of Forestry Alexander Kulik stressed, the situation is extremely difficult. Over the past 24 hours alone, specialists from the State Forest Protection Service, which now works in an enhanced mode, have extinguished 15 forest fires. Most cases are in the Brest region. Violators will face a fine and will also have to compensate for the damage caused to the environment.
