Expert community discusses treaty on security

The signing of the treaty between Belarus and Russia on security guarantees within the Union State and its further ratification, on the one hand, reflect the very difficult realities that have emerged in modern international relations, on the other hand, they emphasise the unprecedented and even unique level of relations between Belarus and Russia.

This is one of the expert opinions voiced today on the assessment of the important event that took place the day before — the ratification of the treaty between Belarus and Russia on security guarantees within the Union State by the parliaments of the two countries. The document comes into force on the day of the exchange of the instruments of ratification.
