European Sustainable Energy Week began Belarus. It is held under the auspices of the International Agreement "Covenant of Mayors". This is a movement, in which local and regional authorities are working to increase the level of energy efficiency and renewable energy. The goal is to draw attention to achievements and prospects, to show that renewable energy technologies and energy saving are effective and have a positive effect on the environment. In Belarus, the Covenant of Mayors was supported by 11 cities.
