Enlarged meeting of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly was held in Minsk

The session talked about the role of the deputy corps in the implementation of the tasks set by the President to put the order on the land and improve the territories. The event was attended by about 130 people — members of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic, members of the Council of the Republic, Chairmen of local Councils of Deputies of regional, Minsk city and basic territorial levels from all regions of Belarus. "Establishing order in all spheres of life and creating a comfortable environment for citizens' life is one of the key tasks, and order and beauty around is an indicator of responsibility and love for one's Motherland", stressed the Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament N. Kochanova. Cleanliness and aesthetics of cities is the brand of Belarus. The tasks set by the President in the Year of Improvement require even more commitment and unity. The key role is entrusted to deputies. Councils of deputies of all levels are to take part in the development and implementation of regional programmes for the comprehensive development of territories, creating conditions for the active participation of the population in putting things in order, including taking into account earlier appeals from citizens. Measures to improve the management of empty houses are already showing effectiveness in bringing order in rural areas.
