Educational establishments in Belarus are preparing for the new academic year

Schools and gymnasiums in Belarus have entered the final stages of preparation for the new academic year. 95 % of educational institutions have already received their readiness certificates, and students will be welcomed with confidence on 1 September. To create comfortable conditions technological equipment was purchased, kitchens and restrooms were fixed up, roofs and facades of the buildings, as well as stadium surfaces, were renovated. A total of approximately Br110 mln including funds for repairs have been allocated for school and gymnasium preparation. District commissions are working at the operational readiness inspection of educational institutions. Sanitary services, the Ministry of Emergencies and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are inspecting the buildings and surrounding areas for compliance with safety regulations.
