Tightening driver training in driving schools is a goal recently voiced by the President during his visit to the Minsk flying club DOSAAF (Voluntary Society for Assistance to the Army, Aviation, and Navy). Road safety is paramount. Around 45.000 people learn to drive annually at this national association alone. However, not everyone passes their driving test on their first attempt. Driving schools provide future drivers with a full theoretical foundation and 50 hours of driving experience. Whether this is sufficient? The question of possible changes to the driver training system has been raised for several years now. Among other things, there is talk of increasing the number of practical driving lessons from 50 to 70 hours, and there are also plans to increase the use of interactive simulators.
