Developing Belarusian science

Today the House of Government hosts a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers that will discuss the strategy for the development of Belarusian science until 2040. The keynote reports will be made by the chairman of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences Vladimir Gusakov and the head of the State Committee for Science and Technology Alexander Shumilin. This year was declared the Year of Science in Belarus. Special attention is given to the implementation of innovative projects. Dozens of events have been organized. And these days Minsk hosts the International Young Scientists' Conference. More than 300 researchers from 12 countries exchange experience and ideas.
