A training and research laboratory "UserGate Computer Network Security Research" has been opened at the BSU. The event marks the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies and stems from the university's fruitful collaboration with UserGate, a Russian developer of information security solutions. This is the first educational platform in Belarus established jointly with the Russian company. The BSU students will train their skills in preventing cyber threats using real-world practical scenarios in this innovative laboratory. Over the past two decades the BSU has trained approximately 1.500 information security specialists. Today this field is a national priority.
