Construction of housing and overhaul of housing stock in Minsk

The Committee of Architecture and Urban Planning is actively revising and adjusting the current planning of Minsk. Experts determine the irrelevant territories, designed 10 years ago and more, in order to allocate them for new developments and facilities. At the moment, the city is implementing large investment and social projects, as well as continuing construction of housing. Over 4.000 apartments were put into operation by organizations of all forms of ownership for six months. At the same time, specialists are planning the capital repair of housing stock for the next five years. The task for Minsk is to put into operation at least one million renovated square meters per year. They are now undergoing an additional survey. First of all, the work is to be done on the objects that require immediate repair and where the service life without modernization exceeds 30 years.
